Today....

Well, today's July 15...a little more than a month until school starts...less than a month until court. Both are stressful situations. Haven't sold my house yet...so that's stressful too. If things could go the way I want them to, Justin would be home, my house would sell, I would find a job and a place to live elsewhere so we can get the heck out of here!!

Tired...

Well, it's been a pretty crazy and busy week! I'm back on my regular schedule at Wal-Mart, so I'm getting used to that again AND they are remodeling, so the store is CRAZY!!





Kerry had her baby on the 4th. That was an interesting experience. It wasn't as gross as I thought it would be. I felt out of place being there, though. I mean, she asked me to be there, so of course, I was, but being there with all of Brandon's family just made me feel like I was some stranger who was walking down the hall and said "Hey, I think I'll see what's going on in this room." I felt like I didn't need to be there and that I was an outsider..there's also a couple other issues with the situation that I'm confused about, but that's another story too. Anyway, with that being said...Kaylee is here!





This was also family week, apparently! Brittni's been here since the beginning of June and Donnie & Traci & James are here now and they will fly home tomorrow. Alicia & Josh & Skyler have also been here and stayed at my humble abode. Josh worked the whole week on the swimming pool and we were able to swim in it by the time he was through! That's one more selling point for my house!

Anyway, I haven't gotten a lot of sleep this week, so my plan is to work on that this weekend. SO don't call my house on Saturday before 10 am or I will hunt you down!!

Sick!

Well, I've been coughing my head off for two days now, so I went to the doctor and he told me I have bronchitus! Wow! I actually have something other than a sinus infection!! He said it was most likely triggered Sunday night at Wal-Mart when a box of powder laundry detergent got spilled at my register and I breathed in the "fumes" for about 3 hours. Lovely! I didn't realize working at Wal-Mart was such a hazardous job!! Well, at least it will give me an excuse to call in sick on Friday!! Hopefully the doctor will give me a note!

A test of patience and faith...

As some of you know, some pretty messed up stuff happened last summer (it's actually been a year now!!) I won't go into all the details, but things are still not settled and/or straightened out. I know that the truth will prevail in the end...but WHEN is the end?! What happened to 'innocent until proven guilty'? My experience this past year has been that it's actually 'GUILTY until proven innocent'!! I didn't think that was how the justice system was supposed to work, but I guess I don't know as much about the justice system as I thought I did. I think it's pretty sad that someone can say that they're going to make up a lie about a person, actually MAKE UP the lie about the person which leads to that person getting arrested, the first person admits numerous lies they have told and are continuing to tell and yet the second person remains detained away from home/family/friends and the first person's word continues to be sufficient to do this. What makes one person's word more valuable than another's? What makes people lie?

In the past year I've experienced a roller coaster of emotions. I'm "okay" now, for the most part, or at least that's the outer impression I express. I'm trying to stay strong and faithful, because I do know that the Lord has a hand in everything. I know this happened for a reason and I know that it will eventually all be okay BUT that doesn't stop me from having weak moments that can last minutes, hours or even days. Please keep both of us in your thoughts and prayers, because believe me, we could both use it!!

Do you remember or should I rewind...?

I already posted a similar blog on my MySpace page, but I was feeling motivated and decided to post another on here.





I am so excited about the upcoming New Kids on the Block concert November 2 in Tampa!! I was 17 or 18 the last time I saw them in concert and that was the BEST time ever!! I have SO many memories from that trip that I STILL laugh about to this day.

This picture is truly one of them!! Because while it is TRULY one of the worst pictures ever it is the best because it expresses the extent of my concussion (note the bruise--and swelling!--in the middle of my forehead) which is probably why my mouth is hanging open--I was beginning to lose all control of my body at that point, as the only medical attention I received was a Taco Bell cup on my forehead and the assurance of "You're okay...come on!" as we sped down I-4 in chase of a "dream". This picture was taken at the Peabody Hotel in Orlando after we had already seen half of the members of New Kids on the Block. We would also during the course of that night and next day meet countless members of New Kids entourage, including parents, siblings, bodyguards, managers, stylists, dancers, band members, opening acts, etc...etc...etc.

Yes, I AM wearing overalls! **Please note the large bangs conveniently covering the large bruise in the middle of my forehead from the night before!! **Also note that, yes, Lenora is wearing black, lace up the front, Bobby Brown/MC Hammer biker shorts/overalls!!


Anyway, I can't wait for the new album...the tour...the whole dang thing!! It should be pretty cool this time since we're older and have finely tuned our stalking skills!! (Although we ARE older now and can be charged as adults, so we might better rethink the stalking idea!!)

Hmmm...

Well, I already typed this once but I guess I deleted it!!! Anyway, as I said before...after reading Andrea's blogs I decided it might be good for me to get my creative juices flowing again, so I created a blog of my own.
